Paterson Public Schools is home to over 7,000 Multilingual Learners, representing more than 30 languages and cultures. Our district is dedicated to meeting the needs of this diverse and growing population by offering rigorous Bilingual, ESL, Dual Language, and World Languages programs. Research supports our approach of providing instruction in students' first languages to facilitate their mastery of English and other subjects.
