    Self Care Calendar

Good Morning PPS and Hello June 2023!

We’ve made it to the home stretch for the 2022-2023 school year; and, perfectly fitting, June is symbolized by love, laughter, joy, and excitement (maybe because we begin the 30-day countdown!).   June prepares us for the summer season and allows us the appreciate the beginnings of warm breezes, visits to the beach, the squawking of seagulls, the smell of a boardwalk funnel cake, the midday sounds of your neighbor’s lawnmower, crackling firepits, and the roasting of s’mores …. It is time to enjoy the fruits of your labor! You earned it!

The Self-Care Calendar will also enjoy a summer vacation and will return, as most will, in September.  CLICK HERE for self-care ideas for the summer season – take a screenshot, save it to your phone, and share it with your friends! How many can you accomplish?

Mantra for June: I am worthy of happiness, love, and respect.  I accept myself unconditionally.  I am enough.

For more ideas on how you can better support yourself and others, please reach out to Ms. Laurel Olson, Supervisor of Student Support Services, at or ext. 10694.
