Workshop And Regular Meeting Notice for April 2023
The Board of Education of the Paterson Public School District has scheduled its Workshop Meeting for Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. and the Regular Meeting for Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at 6:00 p.m.
Both meetings will be held at Joseph A. Taub School, 202 Union Ave.
Members of the public who want to participate in the public comment portion must be in person.

Public Hearing And Board Vote On Employment Contract For The Superintendent Of Schools - April 19
At its regular public meeting on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at 6:00 p.m., in the cafetorium at Joseph A. Taub School, 202 Union Avenue, Paterson, New Jersey, the Paterson Board of Education (“Board”) will hold a hearing about the 2023–2027 Superintendent employment contract for Dr. Laurie W. Newell.
At the hearing, interested members of the public can make comments and suggestions to the Board about the contract. After the hearing, the Board will vote on whether to approve the Superintendent’s contract.
Copies of the contract will be made available to the public who attend the meeting. Those interested in reviewing the contract prior to the meeting may do so on or after April 13, 2023, by calling the Office of the Superintendent of Schools at (973) 321–0980.
FORMAL ACTION WILL BE TAKEN.
