Please be reminded that, per PPS district Policy 4216 "Dress and Grooming", all staff are required to dress in a professional manner while at work, especially if they will be dealing with the public in person.

Use your own judgment and err on the side of caution, keeping in mind that the following attire is not permitted during the school year or the summer months:

  • Jeans (of any color), Baggy Pants, Sweatpants, Stretch-pants, Shorts or Skorts
  • Sneakers, Flipflops
  • T-Shirts, Sweatshirts, or Athletic Wear
  • Clothing that are tightfitting, see-through, low-cut or otherwise overly revealing

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

March Self-Care Calendar & Monthly Sunshine

Good morning PPS and Hello March 2026! 🌼

“All the flowers of tomorrow are in the seeds of today.”

March arrives with a quiet promise: that change is unfolding, even when we can’t yet see it in full bloom.  As daylight stretches a little longer and signs of spring begin to appear, we are reminded that growth often starts beneath the surface.

This month invites us to gently reawaken parts of ourselves that may have felt dormant during the winter season.  It’s a time to check in, refresh our intentions, and nourish the goals that still feel meaningful.  Growth does not require urgency – it requires patience, care and trust in the process.

Mantra for March:

I am emerging, evolving and becoming. I give myself permission to grow at my own pace.

Just as dirt slowly softens before it blossoms, we too can give ourselves permission to evolve at our own pace.

Let March be a season of steady renewal, hopeful energy and intentional self-care! 🌷

For more ideas on how you can better support yourself and others, please reach out to Ms. Laurel Olson, Supervisor of Student Support Services, at lolson@paterson.k12.nj.us or ext. 10694.
