PPS PTO Leadership

Good Schools Are Made Into Great Schools When Parents Make The Time To Be A Part Of It!

The Paterson Public School’s PTO Leadership group is a consortium of PTO officers from each of our schools who work collectively to ensure that parents have well-functioning parent organizations. This is accomplished through various activities such as executive board training, leadership meetings, fundraising planning, and exposure opportunities. PTO officers are elected by their peers and work towards ensuring that parents have a voice in district decision-making and planning. In addition, PTO officers represent our parents at the state level during state budget hearings and planning discussions.

Thank you, parents (guardians, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and family) and teachers/staff, who do so much for our children here in our district. We could not provide funding if it was not for your support, partnerships and volunteer time at these events and programs:

      • Awards/Recognition
      • Back to School Night
      • Fright Fest
      • District/Legislative Updates
      • Community National Night Out
      • Turkey Giveaway
      • BOE Candidate Night
      • Parents Welcome Back Kick off
      • Community Partnership
      • Teacher/Staff Appreciation

Welcome to the Family and Community Engagement ASP Goal 4 Learning Community. Our Learning Community is a place where principals and staff can comfortably come together to learn and share concepts around various Parent and Community Engagement strategies. While each school has created a Goal 4 plan unique to their school community, many of our schools will have similar strategies with varying levels of implementation and experience.
