Full Service Community Center

The Paterson Public Schools Full Service Community Center (FSCC) is located in the heart of Paterson’s fifth ward on the corner of Market Street and Madison Avenue. During the last five years, the center has become a relied-upon resource for parents and residents in the area. The center attempts to support families by offering activities that increase communication between parents and teachers via English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, GED (General Educational Development) Prep classes (equivalent to a high school diploma), parenting classes, and job skills training. In addition to mental health support, emergency food and clothing distribution. Dental clinic services are available to all district students, from pre-school to 12th grade. All of these efforts are based on the premise that when the family is supported, children are supported.
