2024-2025 Credit Recovery Schedule

Program Dates: November 2024 – June 2025

The program will run in 2 concurrent sessions: 

• Session #1 - Nov. 18th - Feb 28th  from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm
• Session #2 - March 3rd - June 13th from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm

Registration

• CR Admin will automatically enroll Seniors
• CR Admin send email to all students
• Personal phone calls to follow

Completion requirements:

• 60 in-person seat hours and 100% of the assigned course with a passing grade to recover credit
• Allowed to take a maximum of 4 courses per School year
• 2 additional courses can be taken in Summer School (if available)

Attendance: 

• The platform records time on task
• Students should be encouraged to report in person weekly

 Off-site Academy students will automatically be registered at IHS.  Students can choose to complete the program at EHS or JFK if IHS poses a commuter challenge. The choses site must be consistent.

Progress Notification:

• Edgenuity report containing time on task and completion rate (weekly)
• Master spreadsheet will be uploaded at the end of each session

 * Credit Recovery cannot be utilized for supplemental work (actively enrolled courses)

 Grading Policy

Course completion	Grade
Students must complete the state-required minimum of 60 hours and 100% of course.	Actual grade earned
PE	60 hours - maximum grade of C
Health (Google Classroom)	100% of the coursework
ESL and Spanish IV (Google Classroom)	100% of the coursework

 

Initial Credit/ Accrual - Half year accrual for Seniors is permissible…must be recorded on the master spreadsheet

Complete the entire course and receive the Grade obtained
