2025-2026 Credit Recovery Schedule Information
The Program will run in 2 concurrent sessions:
- Session 1: November 17, 2025 - February 17, 2026 from 3:30pm to 5:30 pm
- Session 2: February 20, 2026 to May 22, 2026 from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm
REGISTRATION
- Students must complete the registration form. Registration does not guarantee enrollment. Students must show up in person after school to be assigned to classes
- Credit Recovery administrator will send confirmation email with program schedule following registration
COURSE COMPLETION REQUIREMENTS
- 60 seat hours and 100% of the assigned course with a minimum passing grade of 63%
- Allowed to take a maximum 4 courses per school year
- 2 additional classes may be taken in Summer School (if available)
STUDENT ATTENDANCE
- Students must report weekly to the assigned instructor.
- The Edgenuity program records time on task
Students attending the academy high schools will be registered at IHS but can choose to complete credit recovery at EHS or JFK if IHS poses a commuter challenge. The choice to attend an alternate site must be consistent.
PROGRESS NOTIFICATION
- Edgenuity provides students with progress each time the student logs into the system.
- Teacher have access to monitor student progress
- Weekly reports are provided to administration to progress monitor.
*Credit Recovery CANNOT be utilized for supplemental work or for accrual except in Special permissible cases for seniors.*
