PATERSON PUBLIC SCHOOLS ANNOUNCES
PROJECT CHILD FIND
Program seeks to identify and assist children experiencing difficulties

PATERSON – MARCH 23 – Parents and caregivers who suspect that a child in their care may be experiencing various problems can obtain help through Paterson Public Schools and the “Project Child Find” program.

Any child, age 5-21 experiencing  physical, social, emotional, communication, cognitive or sensory development difficulties can be evaluated in order to receive special education and related services through this program. To begin the evaluation process with appropriate district staff, a child’s parent or caregiver should submit a written request to the child’s school.
